Chat box grabs the focus

Does anyone else get slightly annoyed about this? Let’s say you are guiding somebody through logging onto Office 365. You’ve typed in their email address for them as you’re nice like that and the password box appears. You type into chat “Please enter your Office 365 password” and press Enter which moves the focus into the technician chat box - halfway through them typing their password… so not only making a failed password attempt but you also see part of their password.

Is there any reason why the technician chat input windows grab focus like this?
