I’m struggling to understand and get the alerts working. However it may not be what I am chasing either.
I want to create a scheduled task to run a toolbox at a set time and nothing more.
For example, say I want to update a program like Veeam and then reboot the server or workstation. Because it cannot be rebooted during the day, I would have to log in from home to start a toolbox. I want to just create a simple scheduled task and move on with my day.
Is there a way to make this happen without having to create an alert to trigger a toolbox to run at a set time to return something to then finally trigger the actual script that I want to run?
I have 4 main variables: Name, Time (Once off or repeat) and toolbox to run and which devices I want it to run on. I don’t need an alert if it does or doesn’t run or fail. It would be good to get the output of the script though should it cause an error.
I appreciate any assistance that can be provided.
