I was seeing some of that in 5.2.x

Same here since 5.2. Always throws me off thinking an end user is trying to fight me taking over their machine at 2am lol.

That happened to me as well. I went and blanked the screen so they would leave it alone. Turns out nobody was fighting me for the mouse.
