How are y’all monitoring for things like servers or key workstations going offline? I had thought I could use Alerts for this, so I setup a tag, but I don’t seem to be able to filter on the “Events” by tag, which is where Machine Offline lives. I can filter on Alerts, but I don’t see it under Events.
Or, do y’all have a different/better mechanism?
Tags are not available for server event alerts.
So I made a filter for group names and machine names.
All Servers are in a subgroup called server which makes it easy.
Devices like POS Systems and other Pc’s which should be monitored for availability are filtered by the added (A) in the machine name.
