I’ve been telling people to start the remote work once they download it, and then pin it to their taskbar in WIndows 10, so that they can get back into it easily next time.
This appears to work most of the time. However, on a couple of occasions, when the user tries to start the remote work app from the taskbar, it says that it can’t connect (“Unable to connect to server”).
I’ve found to get around this, I get the user to ‘unpin’ from the taskbar, and then to drag the downloaded file directly onto the taskbar.
Does anybody have a clue why this would be? Most of the time it works fine.
