Hi!
I had a catastrophic issue where I was running out of space so I deleted all backups AND installed an update with the upgrade script. However, it didn’t back up properly; probably due to the space issue so it updated and wiped everything.
Since then, I created a new Ubuntu instance and loaded my backup from
2 years ago. I basically have everything working 80% since most of the clients are hitting the same server and populating properly.
One thing I’m hoping that I can recover are my notes. I have the virtual disk of the old server mounted to my new instance. Could there be remnants of the configuration files anywhere outside of /opt/SimpleHelp? Is there any way to recover those files in Linux that actually works after a rm -rf SimpleHelp_backup_* ?
I’m glad that I’m back online. Thanks in advance for your help!
