Using the self-signed certificate on a client?

My SimpleHelp server is currently using a self-signed certificate. How do you use this certificate on a client as a test? I’m going to be using a LetsEncrypt certificate but just intrigued how you use the self-signed one?

The certificate is for secure communication to the server. It’s not needed from my understanding as encryption is forced by SimpleHelp, but it prevents the browser from flagging your SimpleHelp url as insecure.
