Recently when trying to access a Windows Server SimpleHelp has like a pre-credential pop-up for logging in. No matter how i enter the credentials, it will not let me in showing the error:
Error authenticating administrative user
Cannot run program C:\ProgramData\……\elev_win.exe
The system cannot find the file specified.
Fortunately I can access the server without the GUI and the file elev_win.exe is not there, but it is available in other folders related to SimpleHelp. I copied one over to the directory, but it’s still nto working. What can I do to fix it?
